Three NDP candidates nominated in Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH — New Democrats gathered in ridings throughout Scarborough to nominate three new candidates. Hibah Sidat (Scarborough–Rouge Park), Sonali Chakraborti (Scarborough Centre) and Christian Keay (Scarborough–Guildwood) will carry the NDP banner in the upcoming provincial election.

“People in Scarborough deserve a Premier that’s on their side,” said Sidat. “After seven years of Doug Ford, we’re faced with overcrowded emergency rooms, crumbling schools, and a complete lack of affordable housing.”

“We should be a province full of opportunity,” added Chakraborti. “It’s time we had a government that brings a good life back to Ontario by investing in the things that matter.”

“With Marit’s leadership we can hire doctors, fix schools, build homes, and deliver a smart, tough tariff response,” said Keay. “New Democrats know we’re stronger when we take care of each other.”

Quick Facts:
